Intermission for the American Dream advertisement
History was made and humanity understood that what was to come, after the Second World War, was something deeper, kinder, and better. From this famous speech we can still grasp the tone of our historical predicament:
But instead of moving forward with history, we were distracted by the cinema's intermission advertisement, the advert of the American Dream.

The American Dream portrays the times of the boomers, and their generation's lifespan is the time the intermission has lasted—until recently. According to them, it was a great time of free trade and economic prosperity. But if we lift the mask, all we see behind the façade is a trail of further colonization and supremacist propaganda throughout the globe.
Because the boomers in power want to keep us permanently focused on the advertisement and forgetting about our history, we now have a new pastiche boomer character at play:
The slapstick pastiche is at play and we indeed are paying attention once more. But now we are a bit more awake, and we can also see that: NATO has become a corpse that the boomers from Europe are afraid to take to the morgue; the US empire is done and over, even though the president and his troops think the contrary; the petrodollar is on its way to the cemetery too. So, when are we going to come back to history, and start again from here?
